The Barbett

Aranac were contracted to do extensive restoration and alterations to this house in Castlecrag.

Some time in the last 40 years the sandstone had been painted on the main house, both internal and external. This had to be removed without damaging the sandstone.

A new lower floor room was added above and behind the garage, with internal access integrated. Another room was added to the side on the main level, giving greater access and use of the pool and surrounding yard space.

The efforts in restoration earned the Heritage Alteration and Additions Award from Willoughby Council. (As seen below)
